Halifax Thunderbirds Add Texting to Fan-Engagement Strategy

The Halifax Thunderbirds today announced that fans are able to text in for their ticketing needs through the use of Zipwhip, the leading provider of texting for business. By integrating Zipwhip into its overall sales strategy, the National Lacrosse League team will include a communication channel on its business phone number to improve its day-to-day fan engagement.

Fans can now text TICKETS to (902) 334-2333 to speak with a representative about purchasing season tickets or placing a payment on an existing account. Throughout the season, fans will receive special offers and incentives through text messages, sent directly to their phones.
