Thunderbirds sign Warren Hill to one-year extension

HALIFAX, NS (September 14, 2026) -- The Halifax Thunderbirds today announced that the team has signed goaltender Warren Hill to a one-year contract extension.

Hill, 34, is an eight-year National Lacrosse League veteran, having spent seven of those years as a member of the Thunderbirds' organization. 

The Six Nations of the Grand River product has appeared in all 18 regular-season contests for the Thunderbirds in each of the last four years. This past season, he finished with a 7-7 record, along with a 9.89 goals-against average and an .813 save percentage. 

Hill also started all six of Halifax's postseason contests, producing a 10.78 GAA and a .779 SV% while helping the team to an NLL Finals appearance. 

Across 127 career games, Hill has a 52-37 record, a 10.56 GAA, and a .787 SV%. Hill also sits third all-time in franchise history in both saves (3,281) and wins (52).
