Thunderbirds Announce Training Camp Dates in Halifax, including Intrasquad Practice Game

On Friday, November 22, the Halifax Thunderbirds will host the first live team event at the Scotiabank Centre with a free open practice at 7:00 pm AT. As part of the practice, the team will host an intrasquad scrimmage at the arena, featuring a Purple vs Orange game.
Fans will get their first live look at the team while cheering from their seats in the Scotiabank Centre.
“We are excited to offer a glimpse of what the fan experience will be like at Thunderbirds games starting on December 7,” said President and CEO John Catalano. “Fans can get a taste of the fast past action that is the National Lacrosse League as the team uses this game to make its final touches on our roster heading into our inaugural season.”
This event is General Admission, and FREE to the public, however a scannable ticket is required. To request your tickets to the game, please call the Halifax Thunderbirds front office at (902) 334-2333.
Doors to the Scotiabank Centre will open at 5:30 pm for Season Ticket Members ONLY, with concessions and merchandise available to fans at that time. General gates open at 6:15 pm.
Face-off for the scrimmage is set for 7:00pm. Following the game, fans will be invited onto the turf for autographs and photos with players and staff.
Fans will have the ability to purchase Season Tickets, mini-game, and holiday packages, as well as single-game seats by visiting our Customer Service Booth located in the concourse, or by visiting the Scotiabank Centre Box Office on the night of the game.
The November 22 event will be the first opportunity for fans to watch the Thunderbirds in person before the team’s inaugural season home-opener on Saturday, December 7, at 7:00 pm AT at Scotiabank Centre, as they host the New York Riptide.
On Saturday, the team will practice at Gray Arena from 11:00 am to 1:00pm, with the practice open to the public. Seating and space is limited.
