Nov 28, 2022

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (November 28, 2022) - The Halifax Thunderbirds today announced their home broadcast team for the 2022-23 National Lacrosse League season.

Pete Dalliday and Pat Gregoire will both return to the booth for their third year with the Thunderbirds.

The voice of the Thunderbirds since their inception in 2019, Dalliday also remains a staple of sports in Peterborough, Ontario, serving as the voice of both the CHL’s Peterborough Petes and the Major Series Lacrosse’s Peterborough Lakers.

Gregoire returns to The Nest after taking home the Tom Borrelli Award for his outstanding work with both the Thunderbirds and the NLL on TSN broadcasts last season.

“We are thrilled to have Pete and Pat back in the booth to call our Thunderbirds home games for the 2022-2023 season,” said Thunderbirds President & CEO John Catalano. “Their knowledge and passion for the game truly make our broadcasts some of the most exciting in our sport.”

Joining the veteran crew as sideline reporter is Thunderbirds Communications Manager, Maki Jenner. Jenner comes to the Thunderbirds from the Victoria Shamrocks of the Western Lacrosse Association, where she served as the organization’s play-by-play and colour commentary person.

“Maki is an up-and-coming talent in our sport, and we have no doubt she will flourish in her role delivering fans with up to the minute news on broadcasts and via our social media channels.”

She previously featured on TSN’s Game of the Week crew, featuring on broadcasts with her “Lax Facts” segments. Jenner made history this summer, becoming the first woman ever to call a WLA game.
