(HALIFAX, NS) October 25, 2023 - The Halifax Thunderbirds, in partnership with the National Lacrosse League (NLL), are thrilled to unveil the highly anticipated NLL Game of the Week on TSN schedule.

Four of the Thunderbirds' home games will be broadcasted on TSN, with the possibility of a flex game. This unprecedented coverage will allow fans from coast to coast to witness the thrill of Halifax Thunderbirds lacrosse.

“We are thrilled to bring the excitement of Halifax Thunderbirds lacrosse to fans from coast to coast through the NLL Game of the Week on TSN schedule,” Thunderbirds President and CEO John Catalano said. “The selection of games is a true testament to the fans support here in Halifax. We can’t wait to kick off the season and show the rest of the country the amazing atmosphere we have created in The Nest.”

The Thunderbirds' home opener on Dec 1 will not only kick off the NLL's Face-Off Weekend but will also be the first of the 20-game NLL Game of the Week on TSN schedule. Scotiabank Centre will play host to a matchup between the Thunderbirds and Saskatchewan Rush at 8:00 p.m. AT.

Halifax will return to the Game of the Week on TSN on Jan 12 when the Toronto Rock come to The Nest for a rematch of last year’s East Division Semi-Final. TSN will play host to the Birds once again for the team’s Feb 9 and Mar 1 games against the Las Vegas Desert Dogs and Georgia Swarm, respectively.

Halifax’s regular-season finale against the Colorado Mammoth on Apr 20 will serve a flex game.

The Thunderbirds will also potentially feature in two road contests. The team’s matchup with the Calgary Roughnecks on Feb 18 will be on the airwaves. The team's penultimate game of the campaign against the Vancouver Warriors at Rogers Arena will also be a flex game.
